Heather’s style of food is ‘no frills’, it is real cooking using good seasonal ingredients. Her inspirations are drawn from many places but her love of real rustic food comes from growing up in rural Derbyshire and travelling to her house in the mountains in the Abruzzo, Italy. Her accessible style of recipe writing is born out of years working on Woman’s magazines and her own need to cook simple uncomplicated food.
